Town ofWarwick, NY
What is the Safety Action Plan? The Safety Action Plan is a document that identifies and recommends strategies and projects intended to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes throughout the Town of Warwick. As part of the Federal Safe Streets and Roads for All program, the Town of Warwick has been awarded funding to develop a street Safety Action Plan that will help us reduce dangerous traffic crashes on our roadways. The Action Plan will analyze crash causes, find trends, and propose solutions while incorporating public feedback. The Villages of Warwick, Greenwood Lake, and Florida each plan to pass legislation committing to reducing fatal and serious crashes to zero by 2050. The Town of Warwick has already passed this leadership commitment legislation. What are the Demonstration Projects? The safety demonstration projects are intended to slow drivers down in the Village of Warwick. Artists from the community will design artwork to be painted on village roads and intersections in an effort to slow down drivers and reduce crashes.FeedbackPlease take our survey to leave feedback on the project.
